Having played Scrabble for years (too many to mention here!) I am bored with those who say I scored 116 with Quails or I topped 600 last week. Again those who say the highest possible score is 8350 (It isn't. In fact it is about 3200 ish) But who cares?
This is a game between two people and the winner is the winner. I am playing against a guy and we have very close games. Several times it's 1 point! He wins and I am devastated. I win and I am elated. If I did 2 Bingos and loose so what. I lost.
What could be scored is frankly living in another world that has nothing to do with the real game. If Oxyophilanimatisation (not a real word and it won't fit anyway) is a great word and scores 1 million I would bet (and I was a bookmaker so I do know about odds) I would bet that no one has done that in Wordswithfriends. Think, there are about 12 million players, playing say 5 games on average every day. That is 60 million games a day or 1 billion 800 million games a month and NO ONE has yet to score that big. Better buy a lottery ticket as you have more chance. So forget all that might have been and play.
